PENNSYLVANIA'S PREMIERINDOOR CLIMBING GYM & ADVENTURE CENTER

DOWNINGTOWN, PA – The Downingtown Rock Gym (formerly Vertical Extreme) is a community-based indoor rock climbing facility. Conveniently located in Chester County, outside of Philadelphia, the indoor climbing gym offers over 5,000 square feet of climbing surface with bouldering, top rope, auto-belays and lead climbing.

Downingtown Rock Gym provides indoor rock climbing experiences for all ages and abilities. Its walls feature overhangs, boulders, aretes, chimneys, caves, and lead walls. Beginner rock climbing lessons, advanced rock climbing lessons, outdoor rock climbing, and lead climbing lessons are offered, all with Group Rates available.

FIRST VISIT

Whether you're a first-time climber looking to learn the ropes or an experienced climbing visiting our gym for the first time.

MEMBERSHIP

Monthly, annual, and multi-gym memberships are available for avid climbers. Climb and save for individuals and families.

A variety of climbing & adventure options are available for groups of all sizes and ages. Events can be held indoors or outdoors.

INSTRUCTION

A variety of indoor and outdoor adult and youth instructional clinics and classes are available for climbers of all abilities
